Philosophy

Life is full of wonder and with all the information in front of you* with a click of a button, it's hard to decipher what your needs are.  I am here to GUIDE you through the process and together we will find what is RIGHT for you.  I believe everyone has their right to their beliefs, their WAYS, and I am here to give you that support during this beautiful welcoming, the birth of your child.

The aftermath of the event is the time for the parent/s to bond with their child.  But we must not forget about taking care of SELF.  Self care is often pushed away as a side note and the importance of it gets neglected and sometimes thought as being "selfish".  There is NOTHING "selfish" about self care and everybody needs it to maintain their mojo!!  Do not feel guilty!  I am here to NURTURE you through this milestone with NON-JUDGMENTAL open arms be it listening to your worries, providing you evidence based references, or giving you time to just get some shut eye or even take a shower without any worry of having to tend to baby.

Goals

It is my goal to SUPPORT you through this time of "wonder", be it during the pregnancy, birth, or after baby arrives.

Every pregnancy is different even when it's not your first time.  I am here for those in need of help during bedrest, partial bedrest, or who may need specialized help before the birth of their baby or babies.

During the birthing process, it is my goal to make sure everybody involved with the birth or "the birthing team", feel at ease in these anxious times and the hustle bustle of life.  I am here to create a CALM environment, and to keep your experience INTIMATE and ORGANIC as much as possible, be it with your partner or just myself.  I will create a SACRED space for you, and be your VOICE, your ADVOCATE, for your needs, as long as baby is safe.  It is my mission to make you feel at EASE, if you are feeling vulnerable at any given time.

I am your doula and TOGETHER we shall begin your journey in creating YOUR VILLAGE.  I am YOUR L.A. VILLAGE DOULA.
